Outlook Crashes After Starting Up

Written by SkyViewTek on . Posted in .

As some of you are experiencing, Windows Outlook crashes immediately after starting up. Microsoft is rolling out a fix for this issue, and they expect the mitigation to reach all customers over the next few hours. For more information, click here.

Until Microsoft has the fix up and running, you can access your email via your smartphone or via Outlook Web App (OWA). For OWA, please launch your web browser (we recommend Google Chrome) and type the following address in the url –

outlook.office.com

Type in the information required and you can read/send/receive email like normal. If you get an error, contact SkyViewTek for assistance, as you may need a different URL for Hosted Exchange accounts.

For smartphone instructions, please contact us to let us know if you use an iPhone or Android, and we will send you the instructions. To confirm, you will need your email password.

Our regular business hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm (eastern time – not including U.S. holidays).
