Incognito Mode Limitations

“Incognito” or private tabs feel anonymous, but they are not a magic cloak. 🕵️‍♂️🖥️
Private browsing mainly stops your browser from saving history and cookies on that device, which is useful on shared computers.

Here is what private mode does not hide:

Malware, keyloggers, or unsafe downloads on a compromised device. 🦠

Your activity from your employer or school when you are on their network. 🌐🏢

Your traffic from your internet provider, who can still see which sites you visit. 📡

Your IP address and device details, which websites and advertisers can still use to track you. 🎯

Incognito is good for keeping local history clean, but it does not make risky browsing “safe” or truly anonymous.
For real protection, businesses need layered security: secure networks, monitoring, DNS filtering, and good user training, not just a private tab. 🔐
